Franklin County Family and Children First Council receives annual funding from the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund. The Ohio Children’s Trust Fund (OCTF) was created in Ohio law in 1984. OCTF funds primary and secondary prevention strategies that are conducted at the local level and activities and projects of a statewide significance designed to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect. Historically the Franklin County Family and Children First Council has utilized OCTF funding to contract with community agencies to provide various home visiting programs, parenting classes, and newborn home visits. Please contact FCFC for information on our current prevention strategies.
